Saraswathi Institute of Medical Sciences (SIMS), Hapur, is a well-known and respected institution in medical education and research, established in 2008 to provide quality healthcare education and train competent, ethical, and clinically excellent doctors. Located at Anwarpur, Pilkhuwa, Hapur, Uttar Pradesh, SIMS has grown into one of the most respected medical colleges in Delhi-NCR and western UP, currently serving over 7,500 students across undergraduate and postgraduate programmes with an average CGPA of 3.50 and a 95% certification rate.
At SIMS, 20 departments deliver medical education, covering the full breadth of preclinical, paraclinical, and clinical sciences. Every department, from Anatomy, Physiology, and Biochemistry in the foundational years to General Medicine, Surgery, Orthopaedics, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Paediatrics, Psychiatry, Dermatology, Anaesthesiology, and Radiodiagnosis in the clinical phase, is staffed by dedicated faculty who are actively involved in both teaching and research. Faculty members regularly present research papers at national and international conferences and have numerous publications in leading journals.
What sets SIMS medical education apart is the combination of strong academic teaching and live clinical exposure from the very first year. Students train in a 1,120+ bedded teaching hospital attached to the college, gaining real patient exposure across OPD, IPD, operation theatres, labour rooms, ICUs, and emergency services, not simulated scenarios. The college also hosts a Central Research Laboratory, a Medical Education Unit (MEU), and departmental libraries stocked with the latest national and international journals, ensuring students have access to current knowledge alongside their clinical training.
