The Department of Research at SIMS has initiated undergraduate student research activities for the academic year 2026–2027. Ten research groups have been formed, each assigned faculty Guides and Co-Guides across various specialties. Every group has identified five potential research problem statements relevant to clinical practice, patient care, community health, and healthcare education. These topics are currently under review, with students preparing proposal presentations for the Research Committee. Following evaluation and approval, one topic per group will be finalised for implementation, proceeding through data collection, analysis, interpretation, and report preparation under faculty supervision.
