Overview

Hospital sanitation is a non-negotiable pillar of patient safety. Poorly managed hygiene environments are directly responsible for healthcare-associated infections. This one-year diploma provides training in hospital waste management, infection control protocols, sterilisation procedures, biomedical waste segregation and environmental hygiene in clinical settings. SIMS’s large teaching hospital offers a real-world training environment in wards, OTs, ICUs and OPD areas.
