Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.Sc. Nursing) is a full-fledged undergraduate course that equips students for professional nursing practice and leadership in health care. Candidates must have passed their 10+2 (intermediate) or an equivalent examination from a recognised board.
Compulsory subjects:
Physics, chemistry, biology and English.
Maximum marks:
45% for EWS, GENERAL, and OBC in the PCB.
ST, SC: at least 40% aggregate marks in PCB.
Domicile requirement:
Govt. college- only permanent residents (domiciles of Uttar Pradesh) are eligible. This requirement is proven by a domicile certificate or by having passed both 10th and 12th examinations from schools within U.P.
PRIVATE COLLEGE – Candidates from other states are typically eligible to apply for seats in private nursing institutions affiliated with ABVMU.
 
Additional criteria:
Medical fitness: all candidates must be declared medically fit by a medical board appointed by the university and college.
 
Marital status: Married candidates are eligible to apply.
 
Candidates with colour blindness are eligible, provided they wear corrective contact lenses or spectacles during their services.
