Physiology

Physiology is a core basic science subject that is essential for medical, paramedical, and nursing disciplines, focusing on the normal functioning of various organs and body systems, knowledge that every physician relies on to restore normalcy in patients. As a key preclinical department taught within the first 12 months of the medical curriculum, the Department of Physiology at SIMS builds a strong foundational base for undergraduates each year, laying the groundwork for advanced clinical learning. The department also offers a postgraduate course, supported by dedicated faculty including professors, associate professors, and tutors.
