Overview
Computed Tomography (CT) scan technicians use equipment that is vital in the diagnosis of injuries, tumours, vascular conditions and complex internal disorders. SIMS students get to work directly with the Spiral CT facility available in the teaching hospital. This is one of the many advanced diagnostic tools available on the SIMS campus, the others being MRI-1.5 Tesla, Ultrasound and Colour Doppler.
