The library at Saraswathi Institute of Medical Sciences (SIMS), Hapur, is a premier academic and research resource centre to support the intellectual and professional growth of students, faculty and healthcare professionals across all disciplines. The library is a constituent of one of the most reputed medical institutions of Delhi-NCR. The library is recognised by Atal Bihari Vajpayee Medical University (ABVMU), Lucknow, and is functioning as per the academic standards of the National Medical Commission (NMC) and Indian Nursing Council (INC).
The institution is part of the larger SIMS academic ecosystem and has a fully air-conditioned Central Medical Library of around 2,455 square metres, one of the most comprehensive medical libraries. It is located in western Uttar Pradesh with a collection of 9710 medical books, 70 national journals and 30 international journals, and it is open from 8.00 AM to 8.00 PM for students and faculty. The College Library complements the Central Library and provides a focused, discipline-specific collection for students enrolled in health science programmes at SIMS.
