Psychiatry
Established in 2008, the Department of Psychiatry at Saraswathi Institute of Medical Sciences, Hapur, is dedicated to excellence in teaching, research, and comprehensive mental health services, integrating the latest advances for optimal patient outcomes. The department is actively involved in clinical care, UG and PG teaching, research, and community outreach, offering confidential consultations and counselling through specialty clinics and general OPD. A dedicated psychiatric social work team supports patients through home visits and socio-occupational reintegration. Faculty and residents remain engaged in ongoing research, publications, and hands-on training in advanced procedures like ECT and biofeedback.
